Our Local Townships
The 19th Century brought gold rushes to eight different countries including the glacially formed topography of New Zealand. The townships of Wanaka & Queenstown were settlements of the gold mining industry being formed by wealth, and remaining to this day wealthy but without the desperation amongst its population back then.
The main industry for these settlements now is the access to limitless adventures in the local landscapes. Every outdoor activity imaginable is available here within reach of the townships.
Wanaka is the quieter town of the two with more of a local community feel and traditions, whereas Queenstown is the larger central hub for international tourists in search of the thrill of adventure. Set foot outside of either of the townships and you are immediately immersed in remote typically untouched picture-postcard New Zealand.
